MU Extension uses research-based knowledge from the University to provide practical education to the people of Missouri. Extension has an office in every county across the state, providing educational resources in topics such as agriculture, business, and health, and administering organizations like 4H and the Master Gardener program, with the goal of improving the lives of Missouri citizens. A major part of Extension’s mission is to promote engagement by people with University research, which is supported by partnerships with organizations like Science on Wheels. The majority of our events are held in collaboration with Extension partners across the state. Without the vital knowledge of the local community that is provided by Extension offices, it would be extremely difficult for Science on Wheels to hold successful events across the state. Extension has supported Science on Wheels by provided platforms for our events since our founding and maintaining interest for our events from partners around the state. We look forward to their continued support in the future.
